About Us

Larry and Bev wish to welcome you to our Villa Chaman in beautiful Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. As the owners of Villa Chaman we would like to invite you to stay at our home in paradise. And paradise was primary in our thoughts when first we laid our eyes on Chaman, nestled on the side of a hill and surrounded by the jungle. With the pool at our door-step and the lush flowers and trees all around us, we decided we had had enough of hotels and wanted a place of our own to stay on our frequent visits to Costa Rica. So, in August of 2006, we purchased our "newly constructed" Villa Chaman.

Larry first came to Costa Rica in 2002 with his oldest daughter, a junior in college at the time, and backpacking throughout the country gave them great insight to the friendly "Ticos", as they call themselves, and the lush ruggedness of the land from mountains to beach. In 2003, Larry brought Bev here, and the trips became more frequent until they were coming every 3 or 4 months, and staying longer each time. More and more they came to the rainforest of Quepos and Manuel Antonio area, so that's where it was decided to look for a home, and there was Chaman, a tropical paradise.

Bev's next action was to add new furniture and accessories. For 25 years, Bev owned a furniture/accesories store in Wisconsin and decorated her customer's homes. Bev would be happy to assist you with your decorating should you find yourself making the move.

Larry has a business in Wisconsin re-manufacturing toner cartridges and providing laser printer and inkjet printer repair service for businesses, factories, and individuals.

We want to be able to share with you and your loved ones the joy we find when we visit Costa Rica.
